Twelve fortunate language teachers from Hungary recently had the opportunity to embark on a four-day study visit to the enchanting island of Malta. Organized under the banner of "Learn English in Malta!" by Challenge Hungary agency in collaboration with IELS Malta and Visit Malta, this exclusive opportunity not only offered a chance to explore the Mediterranean island but also provided invaluable insights into language education practices and cultural exchange.

Their itinerary was carefully crafted to blend learning with leisure, ensuring a well-rounded exploration of both language learning and the cultural treasures Malta has to offer.

At the heart of the visit was the opportunity to delve into the operations of IELS Malta. They toured the school facilities, observed classes in session, and engaged with staff, gaining valuable insights into innovative teaching methodologies and classroom dynamics. Furthermore, the teachers had the chance to explore various accommodation options tailored to suit different preferences and budgets, ensuring they could provide informed guidance to prospective learners back in Hungary.

Beyond the classroom, the teachers were immersed in Malta's rich tapestry of history and culture. They embarked on guided tours of iconic landmarks such as Valletta, Birgu, Mdina and Gozo, soaking in the rich history and architectural wonders of each location.

Of course, no visit to Malta would be complete without indulging in the island's exquisite gastronomy. They savored traditional Maltese delicacies, Mediterranean flavors unique to the region.

As the study visit came to an end, the teachers departed Malta with hearts full of cherished memories and minds enriched with new knowledge and perspectives.
